MIGUA and British partner tremco illbruck were tasked with an ambitious project in the "London Bridge Station". The London Bridge Station is among the biggest stations in London, with over 49 million passengers in rail transport and more than 66 million subway passengers each year. The challenge was to ensure the electrical decoupling of the profile while at the same time maintaining its high loading bearing capacity. For this, the MIGUA team developed for the first time a MIGUTRANS joint profile that combined the classical, high load bearing capacity of a full-metal profile made of aluminium with a highly resistant PVC. Thus, the new product ensures the required electrical decoupling without losing load bearing capacity. With this unique solution, MIGUA together with tremco illbruck were able to provide a unique solution for the customer. Another example of the implementation of our guiding principle MIGUA - You First. Our customers' needs set our benchmark.
