Migua was founded in Blankenburg in the Harz Mountains (Germany) on May 4, 1920. Today we are doing business successfully throughout the world. As a former technical trading house, we have continuously developed into the successful innovation leader in our industry. We are proud of that. The construction of the so-called Skybridge II was started in 2013. The new X-shaped terminal will gradually increase the passenger capacity to 25 million passengers and up to 40 million passengers per year in the medium term.

As the first manufacturer of expansion joints ever, MIGUA is granted the sought-after Red Dot Award for its new, innovative wall expansion jont cover named WSP. We have come al long way: From the first, brave idea, followed by the complete project engeneering to the submission of the expansiv exhibit at the Red Dot Award 2017/2018. But first of all, it was the dedicated performance of the Migua team that made this award possible. This is why every member of the team is delighted. Submissions of an exhibit in this internationally recognized competition is subject to high requirements. This year there were more than 5,500 submissions from 54 nations. A jury of about 40 independent designers, design professors and specialist journalists tested, discussed and evaluated every single product. Thus, the Migua WSP was awarded the Red Dot award for excellent design quality. Find out more
